Tour Edge Golf has a new high-end player's iron for 2017, with the introduction of the Exotics CBX Forged irons, which were quietly introduced at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in January.
The Exotics CBX irons are forged from Japanese-made S25c Carbon steel for softer feel and some measure of material forgiveness. Each iron face is CNC milled for a reliably flat, consistent shape.
The traditionally shaped cavity is CNC milled to be the deepest cavity possible in a player’s iron, designed for maximum forgiveness, moving it to the dual flange for lowering center of gravity and improving launch. A forged TPE alloy insert helps dampen vibration on mishits.
The Tour Edge Exotics CBX Forged irons offer multiple shaft stock options, including True Temper XP 95 (R, S flexes); True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT (R, S, X); KBS Tour Steel (R, S, X) and Mitsubishi Recoil graphite shafts.
There are other custom options available as well.
The Tour Edge Exotics CBX forged irons are available April 4 for $125 per club in a stock steel shaft and $150 per club in Recoil graphite or custom steel shafts.
